該公司于nth="7" year="2005" w:st="on" style="text-indent: 2em; line-height: 20pt;">2005年7月8日破土動工。于nth="2" year="2006" w:st="on" style="text-indent: 2em; line-height: 20pt;">2006年2月17日開始進行土建施工工作，并于2007年12月完成動力三臺機竣工投運，化工各裝置于2007年5月全面鋪開建筑安裝施工，2008年除MTP裝置外，空分、氣化、凈化、甲醇、聚丙烯等裝置主體設備均已基本安裝完畢；空分裝置進入調試階段，2009年甲醇裝置、1#氣化爐、2#氣化爐、3#氣化爐、空分裝置、預干燥裝置、凈化裝置、聚丙烯裝置相繼進行中交，并實現了3臺空分裝置和聚丙烯2線裝置的單體試車成功。于2011年1月相繼實現了2#、3#氣化裝置和MTP裝置試車成功， 2011年6月生產出合格甲醇，nth="8" year="2011" w:st="on" style="text-indent: 2em; line-height: 20pt;">8月29日實現全線打通流程。nth="11" year="2011" w:st="on" style="text-indent: 2em; line-height: 20pt;">2011年11月18日生產出合格的聚丙烯產品。
